Description
Duraphat 5000 Toothpaste is a prescription-only, high-fluoride toothpaste designed for people with an increased risk of tooth decay, such as those with frequent cavities, weak enamel or exposed root surfaces. It contains 5000ppm fluoride to strengthen tooth enamel and protect against acid attack. After a short online consultation, a UK-registered prescriber can issue a private prescription if suitable, and your toothpaste is dispensed by our pharmacy and delivered in plain, discreet packaging.
What is Duraphat 5000 Toothpaste?
Duraphat 5000 contains a high dose of fluoride (as sodium fluoride), which belongs to a group of medicines used to prevent dental caries. By helping to remineralise weakened enamel and making teeth more resistant to decay, it supports better long-term oral health in patients who need extra protection beyond regular toothpaste.
How it works
Duraphat 5000 contains a high dose of fluoride (5000ppm) to strengthen and protect your teeth. The fluoride helps remineralise weakened enamel and makes it more resistant to acid attack from food, drink and plaque, reducing the chance of new cavities forming and slowing the progression of early decay.
